Road traffic violations and solution

Posted by Ashish Sinha on June 16, 2008

It is high time that all State and Central Educational boards in India introduce a subject in tenth standard syallabus covering Road Traffic rules, safety issues covering all aspects of road safety. This is more important in light of increasing number of vehicles on road with increase in trend of road accidents and fatalities.

Traffic police and associated personnel also need to be given specific training.

Politics & Development in Uttar Pradesh, India

Posted by Ashish Sinha on June 15, 2008

UP Chief Minister is spending more energy and resources on developing Parks with BSP stamp  instead of focussing on providing basic facilities to the residents. Conditions of power, water supply, sanitation, hospitals, government schools in Uttar Pradesh is in shambles  but the Chief Minister is wasting millions of rupees in constructing, dismantling & reconstructing parks not for public use but for political use. The worst part is that the government on one hand claims shortage of funds for development schemes whereas it has no dearth of funds for constructing parks for political show off and rallies. Already constructed houses are being dismantled to give way to such parks. The parks developed by previous regimes are not being maintained and have become a dwelling for street dogs & stray cows.

Is there anyone to stop this unrequired money spending?

Medical fitness of Members of Parliament in India

Posted by Ashish Sinha on June 6, 2008

Election commission of India must come forward and confirm that the MPs elected to the two houses are medically fit to serve the country. It is very surprising that there is a retirement age for Government servents with prime criterion of medical fitness but there is no such system for Members of Parliament in India.

It is big question mark whether our Ministers and other Members of Parliament have sound mind to take correct decision regarding the country? It is high time that Government must confirm this to its citizens.

Violence & Protest in Rajasthan

Posted by Ashish Sinha on June 6, 2008

The Political parties who only encouraged the caste based politics in India are now feeling the heat of Gujjars violent protest in Rajasthan. Is the BJP rule in Rajasthan nearing to an end or will this strengthen BJP in the state? Similar protest will be seen in other states soon, if political parties continue to play caste politics.
