My response to comment from ukprashant@gmail.com

Posted by Ashish Sinha on November 15, 2008

I am not surprised to see comments of ukprashant@gmail.com because there are many uneducated people in India who do not understand english. But it is painful to see comments from people who do not know ground realities, who are still uneducated & uncivilized and who still do not know what is good or bad for a common man.  Below mentioned comment from ukprashant@gmail.com does not desrves to be posted or replied but it is essential to educate such people and open their eyes so that they gain the ability to see the world with unbiased eyes.

“Atleast Mayawati is doing something ,why dont you notice that, where as others dont even construct anything, whether it is Road, building or parks for that matter” When Congress has named all important roads, parks  and junctions of the country behind Indira Gandhi, MK Gandhi ,Rajiv Gandhi , you do not notice such things …. what a pity casteism still stinks in this country and in people like you.

I feel pity on people who feel proud of leaders who “do something” even if it is against the interest of common man.  ukprashant@gmail.com does not understands the difference between constructive and destructive things. I do not know how ukprashant@gmail.com has concluded that my post shows casteism. It is clear that ukprashant@gmail.com is totally unaware about what wrong is being done to the state of Uttar Pradesh by Ms. Mayawati. What does a common man will gain by seeing statues of Ms. Mayawati all around the city? What will a common man gain by construction of a RCC wall around Ambedkar rally ground and then demolishing it within 2 months?. The common labor is cutting stones and without any mask which will soon make him vulnerable to cancer. Why Mayawati is so interested in just putting her statues instead of constructing public toilets. Why Mayawati does not construct schools for un previleged children of the society. Schools in villages do not have even the chairs & tables.

As long as people like ukprashant@gmail.com remain uneducated, we will continue to elect corrupt & inefficient leaders in this country. People like ukprashant@gmail.com must understand that there is nothing in the name, it is the facility or utility which is more important. I shall be glad if Ms. Maywati constructs 500 schools and gives her name to these schools. But putting statues of her own all around the city, wasting money on constructing & demolishing things which do not have any utility is not acceptable. I am not attached to any political party and I am neither biased nor uneducated like ukprashant@gmail.com. I write for the improvement of quality of life of a common man. I do not make myself biased on the basis of caste, religion, region, gender or color.

Mayawati – Modern day Mohammad Tughlaq

Posted by Ashish Sinha on November 15, 2008

Whenever I visit Lucknow, a city in northern India, I see some construction going on around Ambedkar Maidan near Bangla Bazar. However, this time I was astonished to see demolition of the facilities which was constructed 3 months back. I remember, the construction was being done on a fast track and  workers without adequate personal protective equipment, were working day and night. Now, the same is being demolished but no one knows why? Even the opposition has not bothered to raise the matter as money from the pocket of common man is being drained without any returns or achievements.

It is clear that all this being done at the instructions of UP Chief Minister Ms. Mayawati, who appears to be prersent day Tughlaq. The difference between the two is that whereas Tughlaq worked without planning & thinking, Ms. Mayawati does all this with accurate planning, thinking & well designed strategy; purpose? Make money and let the Contractors make money too!!

Unfortunate part is that no political party in opposition is making hue and cry to contain all such destructive activities of Ms. Mayawati.

Lekin aaj phir yaad aa gayi unko yaad karne ki yaad.

Shayd bhool gaya mai unko bhula dene ki yaad.

Yaad na rah saki unko bhulne ki baat.

Aaj hoon mai atyadhik prasanna kyonki unse huwi meri baat

Jinki yaad mey maine bitay kai din aur raat

Phir bhi ji na bhara aur kah na saka apne dil ki baat,

Ab aur jyada aayegi unki yaad, Ab aur jyada aayegi unki yaad.

Maa Aadishakti

Posted by Ashish Sinha on November 15, 2008

Jeevan ka har chhan tumhare charno mey, Mera sara dhyan tumhari bhakti mey aur

mera sansaar tumhare hathon mey.

Tu hi meri shakti ka hai shrot aur teri hi jyoti se hai mere naino ki jyot.

Tu hi basi hai mere hriday mey aur tu hi hai meri prerna shrot.

Teri krupa se milta hai mujhe yash aur maan aur mai hardam karun tera hi gurgaan.

Mujh balak ko hardam rakhna apne aanchal ki chaaon mey, dur rakhna mujhe jeevan ke kleshon se aur ashish do mujhe hardam meri jeet ka aur karti rahna parajit mere shatruon ko.

Tujhe barambaar pranaam, barambaar pranaam, hey maa Tujhe shatshat pranam.

Jai Mata Di!

My trip to Maihar Devi

Posted by Ashish Sinha on November 14, 2008

Long awaited wish came true when I had a darshan of Maa Sharda ( Maihar Devi) in temple situated on Trikuta mountain in Maihar ( Satna district). After climbing up 1063 steps, I reach the bhavan, abode of Maa Sharda. The steps are lower in height except about 60 stairs towards the top which are high steep. The place is well lighted having overhead cover all through so as to protect the pilgrims from rain and heat. The stairs have railings on both sides that provide support to the climbers. In between there are benches where the pilgrims could rest a while instead of climbing up the stairs in one go.

During my journey I stayed in Sur Bahar, A MP tourism resort which has quite decent facilities and has spacious rooms and good ambiance.

Overall Yatra was very good. Jai Maa Sharda.

My Trip to Vaishno Devi

Posted by Ashish Sinha on November 14, 2008

After 20 hours of rail journey by Archana Express, I reached Jammu Tawi from where I took a bus to Katra where one can get Yatra Parchi (Darshan Token). However, by the time I reached Katra, the counter was closed. Next morning on 10th November,  I secured the Yatra Parchi and started journey to Sanctum Sanctorium (Bhawan) and covered a distance of 11.5 km in 4 hours. I was lucky that the number of devotees were few and I got a chance to have Darshan for quite some time (almost 30 seconds). After Vaishno Devi’s Darshan, I went for Bhairo baba darshan and then started my return journey, which I completed in 4 hours. By 5 pm I took a taxi and came to Jammu Railway station from where I once again boarded Archana Express which brought me to Lucknow next morning.

The Yatra was really good. Jai Mata Di
